When it comes to dining on Diani Beach, you are spoilt for choice. A top class selection of fresh seafood is available daily at Almanara. You may choose to dine either in your villa or perhaps at Sails, our beach front bar and restaurant where you can enjoy an aperitif and some fine dining whilst looking out to the Indian Ocean.
Restaurants around Diani
Should you choose to explore some of the local flavours outside of Almanara, there a variety of restaurants and night spots that offer both fine dining and bustling night life. Sample some Kenyan Nyama Choma (Roasted Meat) from the African Pot which serves up a fantastic selection of traditional Swahili dishes. Shan-e-Punjab offers a great selection of traditional Indian curries and cuisine and is definitely worth a visit. If you're looking to get dressed up for the night then head down to the Diani Reef Hotel where "Sake", their Japanese & Oriental restaurant, serves up a fine selection of Sushi, along with Teppanyaki style hot dishes.
Nightlife
If it's dancing and music you're looking for, head over to Forty Thieves. This is where the locals reside, along with tourists who have sought out local knowledge. There is food served all day and music each night that continues through as long as someone is propping up the bar. Tuesday is quiz night, which gives you a chance to test your knowledge of Africa, whilst the Wednesday night disco see's the busiest time of the week.
Sails Beach Bar and Restaurant
Should you choose to dine outside of your villa for lunch or dinner, we can offer international cuisine on site at “Sails” our beach front bar and restaurant. Live bands and entertainment can be organised upon request, while music and a relaxed atmosphere is provided every evening.
