Activities and Facilities
Almanara Luxury Resort offers clients a completely personal service that will ensure all your desires are catered for. A personal chef and butler service is inclusive, along with Wi-Fi, Satellite TV, laundry and chauffeur services. Further to this, a range of additional activities can be organised by a member of our staff.
Kitesurfing & windsurfing at the SurfLeo Watersports Centre
On site, we have the SurfLeo Water Sports centre which offers courses in Kitesurfing and Windsurfing, along with equipment rental. We can also organise Scuba Diving and Deep Sea Fishing trips for those seeking a little adventure.
Golf & Tennis
In association with the Leisure Lodge Golf Club a round can be organised on the 18 hole Par 72 Championship course. Tennis can also be organised on their two floodlit clay courts. Leisure Lodge Golf Club is located 5 minutes from the resort.
Scuba Diving and Boat Trips
A range of other activities including Scuba Diving (PADI & SSI), day trips to Wasini Island for some dolphin and whale shark spotting along with Deep Sea Fishing trips, are also available. Organised trips to the nearby Shimba Hills National Reserve waterfalls and scenic walks are also on offer.
Safari Trips
A variety of Safaris can be organised for you during your stay at Almanara. You can visit one of our preferred camps in the famous Maasai Mara to witness the great Wildebeest Migration, a true spectacle of a lifetime. (Requires a flight and overnight stay). Alternatively you can take a day trip to the Shimba Hills or Tsavo National park. Safari trips can be organised at anytime throughout your stay.
Full board
All of your meals are inclusive as and when you choose to enjoy them throughout your stay at Almanara Luxury Resort. Every need is tended to with a light, yet efficient touch, ensuring each guest experiences total relaxation, accompanied by all the modern amenities desired.

Each Villa has a dedicated team of personal chef, maid and waiter, who are on hand to meet the needs of each guest. Your choice of cuisine for dinner or perhaps a simple cup of tea to enjoy at the end of the day, Almanara provides a completely custom service that will ensure your desires are met, whatever the request.
Snorkelling trips to the coral reef and sand island
Jump aboard the Wasi Wasi Wenu, Almanara's own Ngalawa, and sail out to the coral reefs of the Indian Ocean. Relax at low tide on the private sand islands, or perhaps throw on a mask and some fins, and head into the water to explore the life beneath.
Cloud Nine Health Spa
The onsite Cloud Nine Health Spa offers a range of massage and beauty treatments. Manicures, Pedicures, Aromatherapy and Reflexology are among the selection. Please ask a member of staff for more information.
